In match 7 of the Bengal Pro T20 League 2024, Abhishek Das pulled off a stunning catch, while playing for Adamas Howrah Warriors against Rashmi Medinipur Wizards, emulating the Trent Boult fielding masterclass in the IPL from a few years ago. His exploits in the field were vital for the Warriors to get the better of the Wizards by five wickets at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
It was the 19th over of the Rashmi Medinipur Wizards innings when Kanishk Seth of the Adamas Howrah Warriors delivered a fuller-length ball, which Deepak Mahato danced down the track to loft towards the long-on region. When the ball was coming towards Abhishek Das, he found himself a few metres off the ropes before managing to leap in the nick of time to pull off a stunning one-handed catch mid-air.

Shortly after, Rashmi Medinipur Wizards got bundled out for 132 runs on the last ball of their innings after Saksham Chaudhary of Adamas Howrah Warriors picked up a five-wicket haul in just two overs.
In the run chase, Abhishek Das lost his wicket for 8 off 13, and at one stage, the Warriors were reduced to 69/5 in the 14th over, staring down a defeat. But, the likes of Pramod Chandila and Pankaj Shaw stitched together an unbeaten stand of 66 runs, to take their team over the line with five wickets in hand against the Wizards.
