On Friday, June 28, the Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) announced the venue and schedule of the highly anticipated Odisha Cricket League (OCL) 2024. As per the OCA Secretary, Sanjay Behera, the tournament will commence on June 30, at the Barabati Stadium in Cuttack, while the final is set to happen on July 17.
There are going to be six teams competing for the OCL title, namely, Odisha Lions, Odisha Tigers, Odisha Jaguars, Odisha Pumas, Odisha Panthers, and Odisha Cheetahs. All the 33 matches of the tournament, including the semifinals and the final will be going down at the Barabati Stadium in Cuttack.

Each team in the OCL will play 10 matches in the league stage, including two against all the other teams in the competition. The top four teams at the end of the league stage will advance to the semifinal with the first-place team taking on the fourth-place team, while the second place will go up against the third-place team.
As per the report from Insidesport, there will be red and green caps awarded to the highest wicket-taker and the highest run-scorer in the OCL. According to Sanjay Behera, the top performers from the league will also get the chance to play for Odisha in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.
