Too easy for Ravi Bishnoi: Fans react as Zimbabwean batting collapses against India in first T20I

On Friday, July 6, in the first T20I of the five-match series, the Indian bowling lineup restricted Zimbabwe to 115/9 in their allotted overs at the Harare Sports Club in Harare. Ravi Bishnoi was the star of the show with the ball for India, registering figures of 4/13 in his spell, which led to the fans appreciating his efforts on X.

After winning the toss, Shubman Gill, the captain of India, decided to field first on a bright and sunny afternoon at Harare. Mukesh Kumar picked up the first wicket for India, castling Innocent Kaia without troubling the scorers on his first ball.

Ravi Bishnoi got into his own after the powerplay, picking up the key wickets of Wessly Madhevere and Brian Bennett in quick succession, who were in their 20s, to put India ahead of the game. In his second spell, he sent Wellington Masakadza and Luke Jongwe, the lower-order batters, to ensure that Zimbabwe didn’t get past 120 runs in their allotted overs.

Washington Sundar also delivered a very good spell of bowling, picking up two wickets for just 11 runs in four overs. Clive Madande top scored for Zimbabwe with 29 off 25, which included four fours.
