WATCH: Young girl emulates Jasprit Bumrah’s bowling action to perfection; goes viral

A video has gone viral on social media platform, X where a young girl is emulating the unorthodox bowling action of the Indian fast bowling superstar, Jasprit Bumrah. In her school uniform, she manages to replicate the intricacies of the tough bowling action to perfection in the nets, beating the batter all ends up at the striker’s end.

This isn’t the first time a young boy or a girl has tried to imitate the bowling action of Jasprit Bumrah, who is arguably the best fast bowler in the world currently. The 30-year-old is widely known for delivering yorkers with great precision, especially in the death overs of a white-ball game, making him a tough prospect for any batter to handle.

The viral video had the young girl replicate the trademark short run-up of Jasprit Bumrah in her school uniform after walking a few steps into it. Upon getting closer to the popping crease, her run-up exploded into life before she let go of the ball with a swift arm movement, which makes the Indian fast bowler quite unique from the rest.

Moreover, after playing a vital role for India in winning the T20 World Cup 2024 in June, Jasprit Bumrah is on an extended break from cricket. He didn’t feature in the Indian squad in the recent white-ball tours to Zimbabwe and Sri Lanka.

It is expected that Jasprit Bumrah will be back playing international cricket next month when India takes on Bangladesh in a two-match Test series at home.
