WATCH: Imam-ul-Haq makes shocking allegation of unfair treatment in Pakistan cricket team

Imam-ul-Haq, the Pakistan cricketer, has made a massive allegation on getting treated unfairly in the national team in response to a question on the matter during a TV show in Pakistan, and its video has gone viral on the social media platform, X. The nephew of Inzamam-ul-Haq, who has played for the Pakistan cricket team in all formats of cricket, also spoke about how he is paying the price of being related to his uncle.

Notably, Imam-ul-Haq, who last played for Pakistan in a Test match at the Melbourne Cricket Ground against Australia in December 2023, has decent career numbers in the Test and ODI formats. In his 24 appearances in Test cricket for Pakistan, the 28-year-old has scored 1568 runs at an average of 37.33 with three hundreds and nine fifties, while in 72 ODI matches, he has put together 3138 runs at an average of 48.27 and a strike-rate of 82.55 with nine hundreds and 20 fifties.

Inzamam-ul-Haq was a better captain than Misbah-ul-Haq in the Pakistan cricket team: Imam-ul-Haq

During a live show on GEO News in Pakistan, when Tabish Hashmi asked Imam-ul-Haq on whether he was treated unfairly in the Pakistan cricket team, he thought long and hard before responding with a “Yes.” The next question from the host was about whether Inzamam-ul-Haq was a better captain than Misbah-ul-Haq in the Pakistan cricket team, and he answered in the affirmative.

Furthermore, Imam-ul-Haq was also asked a hilarious question about whether Babar Azam should leave the opening slot in the Pakistan cricket team and get married, to which he replied “No.” Moreover, Imam-ul-Haq and Babar Azam were quite a formidable pairing for Pakistan at the top of the order in Tests and ODIs when they were both in the national team, establishing a friendship or sorts in the process, which can be clearly interpreted with the answer to the aforementioned question on a TV show in Pakistan.

With Pakistan cricket being quite volatile in nature at the best of times, the fans shouldn’t be surprised if Imam-ul-Haq returns to the national setup in one or multiple formats sooner rather than later.
