WATCH: Footballer gets red card for urinating on side of the field in Peru

During a lower division tournament in Peru, a footballer named Sebastian Munoz of Atletico Awajun got himself sent off for urinating on the side of the field. The incident was brought to the attention of the referee by the opposition players from Cantorcillo during the Copa Peru clash before Sebastian Munoz got red carded at the La Gran Saposoa Stadium.

As per the report from the Times of India, in the 71st minute of the lower division match in Peru, Altetico Awajun earned a corner, but it wasn’t taken immediately due to Cantorcillo goalkeeper needing medical attention. Upon seeing the match stopped for injury concern, Sebastian Munoz, who was standing around the corner flag, turned around to take a leak on the sidewall of the stadium.

When the Cantorcillo players noticed the disgusting act from Sebastian Munoz, they let the referee know about it instantly. It led to an angry referee giving the Peruvian player the marching orders with a red card, while the other players were in shock at what transpired in front of them.

Moreover, football has seen a few embarrassing incidents like what Sebastian Munoz did in Peru. Jens Lehmann in his time at Arsenal and Gary Lineker for England during the FIFA World Cup 1990 have been seen urinating and defecating around the pitch side respectively.
