The player auction for the third season of the Legends League Cricket underwent in New Delhi on August 29. The bidding war saw more than 200 national and international players going under the hammer to take home the best squads for the 2024 edition. Southern Superstars, who were under the leadership of Ross Taylor during the last season of the tournament, finished their campaign in fifth position with one win.
Before the forthcoming season, the side went on to retain Abdur Razzak at the auction. In the high-octane cricketing drama which is set to start on September 20 at the Barkatullah Khan Stadium in Jodhpur, the side will aim to deliver better performance and end the campaign at higher position on standings.
