Is Shubman Gill dating actor Avneet Kaur? Pictures from cricketer’s birthday party spark rumours

India’s rising batting star Shubman Gill’s name has been linked with several girls in the past. The list also included former Indian batting icon Sachin Tendulkar’s daughter Sara Tendulkar. Recently, the cricketer celebrated his 25th birthday on September 8, where several cricketers and his other friends from the Indian TV and Bollywood fraternity joined him. It goes without saying that apart from his on-field appearances, the cricketer has been making headlines for his off-field associations. 

After his links with Sara Tendulkar, there have been rumours that Gill has been dating Bollywood actor Aveneet Kaur. The rumours were fueled after Avneet shared a picture with the cricketer wishing him a happy birthday. Kaur captioned the picture, “Happy birthday Shubman! Keep inspiring people! Proud of you always.”

This is not the first time Shubman and Avneet have been spotted together

Shubman Gill’s birthday party isn’t the first time he has been spotted with the actress. Earlier in December last year, they were seen enjoying each other’s company, igniting dating rumours. The actress who was holidaying in London had shared pictures that included the cricketer which raised curiosity among fans and the media. However, both Kaur and Gill have maintained their silence on the matter and haven’t neither confirmed nor denied the rumours. 

Pratham Singh replaces Shubman Gill for second round of Duleep Trophy; Mayank Agarwal to lead India A

The young batter, who was captaining India A in the ongoing Duleep Trophy has been named in the Test squad for the opening Test against Bangladesh, with the BCCI naming Pratham Singh as his replacement. Along with Gill, names like Yashasvi Jaiswal, Rishabh Pant, Axar Patel, KL Rahul and Kuldeep Yadav won’t feature in the next round of the tournament. 

Speaking about his performance in the tournament, Gill scored 46 runs in two innings at an average of 23.00. Under his captaincy, India A lost to India B with a margin of 76 runs.
