Indian politician Tejashwi Yadav comes from a renowned political family in the country, and he is a son of former Chief Minister of Bihar, Lalu Prasad Yadav. However, very few know that Yadav has also played professional cricket. Tejashwi Yadav was once a part of Delhi Daredevils (now known as Delhi Capitals) in the early years of the Indian Premier League (IPL). In his latest interview, Tejashwi Yadav claimed that star Indian cricketer Virat Kohli played under his captaincy. Tejashwi also made a claim that he and Kohli played together for Delhi. The former deputy Chief Minister of Bihar said that he was a good player, but he had to step away from cricket due to injuries. According to the stats from ESPNcricinfo, Tejashwi has played one first-class, two List A, and four T20s in domestic cricket for Jharkhand.
“Virat Kohli used to play under my captaincy. I was very good at cricket, but due to injuries I had to leave it. Virat and I played together for Delhi,” Tejashwi Yadav was quoted as saying by OneCricket.
