The thrilling Swiss Stage of the CODM World Championship 2024 has concluded, with the top eight teams securing their spots in the playoffs, starting Saturday, 5 October 2024. Two Indian teams, Godlike Esports and Team Vitality, competed in the Swiss stage. Godlike Esports triumphed in three matches against Supreme Team, Animus, and Tribe Gaming, earning their place in the next round. Unfortunately, Team Vitality, led by Tectonic, was eliminated after a hard-fought decider match loss against Wolves.
Godlike Esports will now face one of the tournament favorites, Team XROCK in the playoffs. XROCK, who didn’t lose a single map during the Swiss Stage, will be a formidable challenge for Godlike. However, with skilled players like Learn, Abhiz, Neutrino, Trunks, and Prevail, Godlike has the potential to pull off an upset.
Team Vitality, featuring standout players like SAMs, JOKOs, Tectonic, Solo, and Mxrvel, suffered three surprising defeats at the hands of Four Magic Vitrinni, Tribe Gaming, and Wolves, leading to their early exit from the tournament.
